4D Construction Simulation
Wavy Abstract Background
What is a 4D Simulation?

This is a visual representation of construction schedules integrated into 3D BIM Models. All referencing materials are displayed including time frame, site location, 2D drawing information and the typical Gantt chart scheduling. This is a powerful tool that can help minimize communicative errors that occur during coordination, optimize construction planning and enhance cross-discipline resolutions.

We have accumulated experience in 4D, whereby clients utilize simulations to better demonstrate their technical approach and construction methodology in Tender interviews. Navisworks and Fuzor are commonly used software during production and rendering.

4D Construction Simulations

In this process, we model elements based on a set of 2D drawings whilst incorporating Construction Scheduling data exported from Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project in excel format to produce a 4D Construction simulation that demonstrates sequencing and phase planning.  This enables clients to visualize and comment on feasibility of construction sequence thereby reducing variation costs.
